Great episode as always! I also love the book, Max and the Tag-along Moon, for a diverse every-day book.
I loved the interview with Linsey Davis! I saw her in Raymond Arroyo’s show, “The World Over” and so enjoyed listening to her. I immediately thought of you and wondered if you had seen her book and here it is! You are ahead of the game, Sarah! I need to get this book even though I don’t have any littles left.
Thanks for posting this list, we have several books you mentioned and love them dearly! Are you taking other suggestions? If so, I recently illustrated and published a counting primer for young children called Counting Thru the Bible (available on Amazon). It’s a board book designed to clearly identify basic numbers with items illustrated from the Old and New Testaments. I am about to publish another primer about animals of the Bible as well (Spring 2018).
I would love to hear any advice you may have in getting the word out about these biblically based children’s books, or if you want more information I would be happy to send you a copy. Thank you in advance!
So many great recommendations here! We absolutely love books by Jane G. Meyer. So many gems!
In the Candles Glow is a great one for Lent, too.:)
