FROM SARAH:
One of the most inspiring books I've read about mothering. Reading it reminds me to save the small things and enjoy the beauty and light that children bring wherever they go. Read this when you want to fall back in love with motherhood.
FROM THE PUBLISHER:
Mothers are pulled in a million different directions while trying to give their kids fulfilling, productive, joyful childhoods. They mistake activity for happiness, and fill their kids' heads with information when they ought to be feeding their souls instead. This is a book for mothers who yearn to find a balance in their own and their children's lives.

FROM SARAH:
A breath of fresh air from Greta Eskridge. Don't be intimidated by the idea of adventuring—Greta gives ideas for how even tiny moments right from home can form family bonds and warm memories. Highly recommended.
FROM THE PUBLISHER:
A modern, practical, and inspiring guide to creating deep heart connections with kids by regularly creating new experiences and intentional adventures together.

FROM SARAH:
This is the book I recommend most often when I’m asked about troublesome content in classics. This gorgeous memoir of author Mitali Perkins’s reading life made me glad to be a reader, and eager to read even more. This will be a 2022 Mama Book Club selection in RAR Premium.
FROM THE PUBLISHER:
Award-winning children's author Mitali Perkins grew up steeped in stories - escaping into her books on the fire escape of a Flushing apartment building and, later, finding solace in them as she navigated between the cultures of her suburban California school and her Bengali heritage at home.

FROM SARAH:
This is (easily) my favorite book so far by Laura Vanderkam. It's full of practical solutions for choosing how to spend your time that I think many homeschooling mamas will appreciate. "Going to bed early is how grown-ups sleep in" might be my favorite line from the whole book!
FROM THE PUBLISHER:
To make time for what matters, you need a resilient schedule, not a perfect schedule. Based on a time diary study of over 150 people, Vanderkam shares nine strategies for building opportunities for joy, nourishment, and fulfillment into your week, such as:
- Three times a week is a habit
- One big adventure, one little adventure
- Effortful before effortless
This is more than a time management book about “how to do it all.” It’s a look at how real people changed their lives using Vanderkam’s nine rules, and how you can do the same.
