Bugs, boats, and beaches. August is a wonderful month for picture books, and we’ve got our favorites for you right here. Just for good measure, we’ve added a few books about trees and nature and home, sweet, home – the place we all want to return to after a long day outside.
One of my favorite books on this month’s list is Jabari Jumps by Gaia Cornwall. It’s bound to become a summer favorite. And don’t miss the Caldecott Award winning book, Hello Lighthouse.
