I listened to this one on audio (fantastic) and immediately had my 9yo listen next. She finished the book in a day and a half! Barbara O'Connor is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Her writing is just fabulous and makes me want to be a better writer, myself.

Mavis Jeeter is fearless and bold, but she has never lived in one place long enough to have a real best friend.
