FROM SARAH:
I just think Eric A. Kimmel is one of the best at writing spins on fairy tales and fables. This is a particularly fun one, especially if you're learning about Westward Expansion.
FROM THE PUBLISHER:
From award-winning author Eric A. Kimmel with gorgeous, brightly patterned illustrations from artist Mara Penny, Hank and Gertie brings a modern twist to the classic Hansel and Gretel folktale combined with the high-adventure landscape of the Oregon Trail.
