  1. This helped me a lot! We had fallen off the RA wagon and instead of action I was just experiencing guilt! Thank you for this podcast.

  2. Do you still have the calendar printable available? I would love to be able to reference that as we try to get back into a routine of reading aloud again.

  3. We love reading together everyday! We start with our bible reading during breakfast time followed by an audiobook chapter or a read aloud of whatever books we are reading for homeschool. Right now we are doing Anne of Green Gables even while driving around which is pretty cool because we live in Prince Edward Island!

  4. I so appreciated that you mentioned and encouraged families whose kids go to school as well as families who home school. Reading aloud is good for all families and I love that you included all families in your podcast.

  5. Great suggestions! My boys never let us end the day without reading. We are well over 200 days of our reading streak, although we rarely missed a day before officially beginning. When I think back over my 20 years (so far) of homeschooling, I’m amazed at the memories made and relationships strengthened around the books we’ve shared. I’m sending this podcast link to my library patrons, some who are in more challenging seasons of life.

  6. I think you recorded this one just for me! I emphasis on reading to “form joy in our family above all” is so freeing. Thank you for this lovely reminder!
